The ruling non-coalition starts talking about negotiations

We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and GERB-SDS will sit at the negotiating table when Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel and Premier Nikolay Denkov discuss the reports on the government's activities in the past months. Speaking to journalists in parliament, Premier Nikolay Denkov said that he had spoken with Mariya Gabriel yesterday and the two are ready for talks on the government lineup after the rotation, reported BTA. In Nikolay Denkov's words, the controversial memorandum that sparked a dispute between the ruling political forces raises matters of principle – about the composition of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Anti-Corruption Commission and the key regulators. According to Denkov, the document proposes clear mechanisms for the selection of quality people and for apportionment of political responsibility.

In Varna, GERB leader Boyko Borisov commented that it is normal for parties to have conflicts, but they should unite around the good things they have done and the country's geostrategic orientation, rather than insulting each other.
