Kiril Vatev to participate at the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels

Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Kiril Vatev will participate in today's meeting of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels, the Agriculture Ministry said.

The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission are expected to present information on the need for rapid responses to the current crisis situation in the agricultural sector. The ministers will discuss short-term and long-term actions needed at European and national level to reduce the administrative burden on farmers and to address the challenges they face.
