At the end of the winter season, skiing enthusiasts can take advantage of the new 20-centimeter snow cover at Pamporovo resort in the Rhodope Mountains. They can use twelve ski slopes and lift passes are at promotional prices. According to Pamporovo AD, the ski season will continue at least until April 7.

The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good, and the facilities are operational everywhere, said the Mountain Rescue Service. It is cloudy in the higher parts of the mountains. Temperatures range from minus 9°C to 2°C. Mountain rescuers advise people to use the winter markings as there is new snow cover- about 10-15 cm on higher ground.
