The first evening of negotiations between GERB-SDS and We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) for joint governance ended without statements. According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel, who is expected to head the government for the next nine months, the key talks taking place this weekend will answer the question whether the joint government will continue and in what form.

Among them are filling the Anti-corruption Commission with publicly convincing figures, expanding the powers of Parliamentary ad-hoc committees, a new Judiciary Act, stepping up efforts to join the Eurozone, etc.
