"We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) will appeal to the Constitutional Court against Parliament's decision "on financial stability and fiscal liquidity" after it is published in the official gazette. The PP-DB made the announcement at a briefing in Parliament.

The decision states that the Minister of Finance should immediately stop all spending until a caretaker government is appointed, with the exception of urgent payments for pensions, salaries, social welfare and the national debt.
Parliament has no right to interfere in the powers of other authorities, said MP Vasil Pandov. In his words, what we have seen in recent weeks is "a constitutional rollercoaster of horrors". According to Martin Dimitrov, the PP-DB leaves the country in excellent financial health, with a budget surplus of 200 million euro and a tax reserve of 6.5 billion euro.
