Right-conservative union "Blue Bulgaria" as alternative to "liberal assemblies"

The beginning of a right-conservative union "Blue Bulgaria" is set as a "political alternative to liberal random coalitions and left-wing Eurasian projects". The union addresses "all those who are convinced that our security is guaranteed by a strong Bulgaria in the Europe of nations, protected from Eurasian imperial ambitions and for whom national policy is formed by the Bulgarians, not by embassies. Regardless of whether they are from the East or from the West", announced the new formation.

"Blue Bulgaria" is a continuation of the "Blue Sofia" project, which nominated Vili Lilkov as a candidate for mayor of the capital in the local elections on October 29, 2023. The founders of the project are Vili Lilkov, Petar Moskov, Jacqueline Toleva, Ivan Sotirov and Stefan Ivanov.

Earlier today, President Rumen Radev announced that the extraordinary parliamentary elections and the European Parliament elections will be held "two in one" on June 9.
