Former interior minister and now MP from PP Boyko Rashkov denied that he was aware that Marin and Stefan Dimitrov, who are being investigated for smuggling, were engaged in criminal activity. Asked whether he was the link between Dimitrov and the Interior Ministry's Secretary General and whether out of loyalty to him Zhivko Kotsev had kept in touch with them, Boyko Rashkov replied "that these statements made by Mr. Kotsev were the result of the pressure that was exerted on him by the acting Prosecutor General, by the chairman of the anti-mafia commission and other persons".
