It includes samples from the museum's collection, united by the green colour in all the shades that nature has created.

The first international mineral exhibition took place in 1991, and in the following years the exhibitions evolved into mineral shows, organized three times a year. Traditionally, the International Mineral Show is held during the second week of October, while the other two take place before the Easter and Christmas holidays respectively. Individual collectors, companies, mining enterprises and Bulgarian universities participate in them. The exhibitions showcase minerals from Bulgarian deposits, as well as rare and exotic samples from world-famous and newly discovered sites.
