The National Day of Valour and the Day of the Bulgarian Army will be celebrated on May 6 with open doors at the National Museum of Military History in Sofia, the Naval Museum and Park Museum "Vladislav Varnenchik" in Varna and the Aviation Museum in Krumovo.

The National Museum of Military History has prepared a special programme, which will begin at 11.30 with a concert by the Representative Military Brass Band of the Land Forces

At 12.30 pm there will be a tasting of the emblematic bean soup prepared by a military cook. Thanks to the Logistic Support Command, visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to see a modern field kitchen of the Bulgarian Army and experience the everyday life of a soldier.

Weather permitting, visitors will have the opportunity to enter the control cabins of some of the most iconic items in the museum's outdoor exhibition - the Mi-2 and Mi-8 helicopters and the 2K 52 Frog Luna-M missile complex.
