The GERB/SDS coalition will have more seats in the 50th National Assembly – 80, as compared to 69 in the 49th National Assembly. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) is also expected to have more seats – 41 as compared to 36 in the previous parliament. The sum total of the seats held by the two political forces is 121 which is enough for a parliamentary majority. We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria (PP/DB) are registering a drop – from 64 down to 55 seats in the next parliament. This is indicated by the results of a national survey commissioned and carried out by bTV and Market Links among 1,007 respondents over the age of 18 in the 27 April-9 May period by direct interview and online survey.

The coalition GERB/SDS is first, garnering 26% of the votes, followed by PP/DB with 17.7%. Third comes the MRF with 13%, closely followed by Vazrazhdane – 12.9%. The Bulgarian Socialist Party is 5th with 8%. Market Links expect to see a 5-party parliament. There Is Such a People (ITN) earns 3.2% of the votes leaving it below the 4% threshold.
