The visiting exhibition of the Regional Museum of History in Vratsa “Gods, symbols and ancient signs” opens at 11 AM on 11 May at the National Anthropological Museum under the auspices of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Experimental Morphology, Pathology and Anthropology in Sofia.

The artifacts from the exhibition present the cult of the sun-god and the great mother goddess – the male and the female principle. Fascinating archaeological finds from the Bulgarian lands give an idea of the rituals and religious beliefs of ancient civilizations - from prehistoric times down to the late Middle Ages.
