More than 26,300 thousand Bulgarians abroad desire to vote for Parliament

Over 26,300 applications for voting abroad in the elections for MPs have been confirmed so far. The documents submitted through the electronic system of the Central Election Commission will be accepted until 24.00 hours Bulgarian time on 14 May. 

The number of polling stations to be formed abroad depends on the number of applications. 


The largest number of people wishing to vote has so far been in Turkey, with 17,000 applications submitted, followed by those living in Germany - over 1,600, and in the UK and Northern Ireland - 1,400. 

Bulgarians abroad have submitted over 6,000 electronic applications to vote in the European Parliament elections.
