The Ethnographic Museum in Burgas will be filled with the aroma of food. The museum's director Dr. Milen Nikolov will show culinary skills and make a demonstration of ethno cuisine. He will cook pork with dock plant, green onions and spearmint using an old recipe from Kotel. The Ethnographic Museum- Burgas also directs the audience's attention to ''The Old Burgas through the Eyes of Dr. Magardich Melkonyan''. The history of the city during the period 1930-1945 and the personal history of Dr. Melkonyan is told through photos, documents and items from the museum's collection.
The curators of the Ancient Nessebar Museum also expect many guests. Visitors can see 21 traditional costumes from the Eastern Balkan Mountains, Strandzha and the Burgas region. These costumes date back to the 19th and early 20th centuries and are part of the collection of the Regional Historical Museum in Burgas.
Orchid lovers can visit the Natural History Museum in Burgas. It hosts the exhibition "Notes on Bulgarian Orchids" on the occasion of the European Night of Museums. It features notes and drawings by artist Lyuben Domozetski from his trips to various Bulgarian regions, made for scientific purposes.
