The traditional Spring Fair of Crafts in Plovdiv kicks off

The Spring Edition of the Plovdiv Fair of Crafts has opened in the Old Town, reports BNR-Plovdiv. 

For three days, until May 19, craftsmen will be demonstrating their skills with the focus this year laying on a craft with almost 5,000 years of history - artistic knitting, with one, two and five hooks. 

Lace makers, wool felters and glass painters will also be demonstrating their skills. The event also includes food preparation using recipes from old recipe books.
