Bulgarian pop legend Lili Ivanova awarded the President's Badge of Honour

Lili Ivanova - one of the most outstanding Bulgarian pop singers - has been awarded the President's Badge of Honour. The award was presented after her concert last night at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre in recognition of the outstanding significance of her overall work for Bulgarian musical culture, her contribution to the high international prestige of the Bulgarian singing tradition, and as a tribute to her talent, which has established her as the prima of Bulgarian popular music.

Radio Bulgaria wishes Ms Ivanova many happy returns of the day!
