Green Deal standards must be met not only by EU member states, but also by non-EU third countries using the European market. This proposal was made by caretaker Agriculture Minister Georgi Tachov to EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski, who is on a working visit to Bulgaria, reports BNR journalist Veselina Milanova.

During the meeting, other Bulgarian proposals were discussed, including raising the thresholds for so-called Ukrainian aid and extending the deadline for implementing projects under the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 by one year.
