In Studio 1 of the BNR, the Folk Music Orchestra with conductor Dimitar Hristov will present "Music in Portraits" on May 23. The audience will hear singer Magdalena Karamiteva, kaval player Dimitar Karamitev and piper Dimitar Gugov, who have been living abroad since 2000. Their original music, arranged by Peyo Peev, Georgi Andreev, Kostadin Genchev, Dimitar Hristov and Petar Milanov, will be presented.
For Dimitar Gugov, who lives in Strasbourg, but plays all over the world with the Violons Barbares ethno-formation, participating in the "Music in Portraits" project is a dream come true and his first concert as a soloist in Bulgaria.
