An important task of the state is to support culture, to provide conditions for artists to create art with the help of private initiative, President Rumen Radev said during the gala evening "Horizons", organized by "Manager" magazine. The forum is under the auspices of the president and is dedicated to the interaction between cultural and business figures.

"A crisis can be overcome with a clear direction and with the unification of the nation. That is why it is necessary for people to share sustainable and deep-rooted spiritual values and this is the main role of culture," Radev pointed out . "Bulgaria occupied a leading place in Europe in terms of cultural and spiritual development long before many of today's countries in Europe existed...It integrated into the cultural code of Europe the Bulgarian alphabet, Slavic literature and Bogomilism," the president also said.
