After last night's storm, accompanied by hail and strong winds, several municipalities in Bulgaria suffered serious damages and declared a state of emergency.
In the Municipality of Nova Zagora, several villages suffered damages. Ice chunks have broken windows, there is damage to roofs and buildings. Today is also a non-school day for schools and kindergartens in the municipality. Despite the efforts of the hail control service, orchards with cherries and peaches were damaged. In Teteven, last night's storm and torrential rain with hail were also devastating, while in the village of Ribaritsa the ice chunks were the size of an egg. There is serious damage to crops, cars and real estate.
