Kiril Petkov: Peevski and Borissov on the political scene - it is terribly expensive!

Former PM Kiril Petkov.

At the moment, GERB leader Boyko Borissov is being blackmailed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) co-chairman Delyan Peevski, and from "There is Such a People" (ITN). He is receiving "appalling proposals that combine stupidity and boundless insolence", the price of which will soon become clear. This is what one of the leaders of the PP-DB, Kiril Petkov, wrote on Facebook.

"The real question is not what the price of ITN is (we will soon find out), but how much more we as Bulgarians can pay for the "pleasure" of having Peevski and Borissov on the political scene. Two people are stopping the progress of a whole nation. This is terribly expensive," Petkov added.

According to Borissov, only the first three political forces in the 50th National Assembly - GERB-SDS, DPS and PP-DB - can form a stable government. Otherwise, early elections would be inevitable. The PP-DB, in the person of one of its coalition leaders, Assen Vassilev, said that it was the responsibility of the winner of the elections to secure a majority and that the PP-DB would be in opposition "to the corrupt practices of GERB and DPS".
