President Rumen Radev and caretaker Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dimitar Glavchev will both attend the upcoming NATO summit, the government press office said. The deadline for registration for the event, to be held in Washington from July 9 to 11, is today.

Yesterday, the caretaker prime minister sent a letter to National Assembly Speaker Raya Nazaryan and the political groups in the 50th National Assembly, asking them to decide who would represent Bulgaria at the NATO summit.
The decisions of the Washington summit concern the implementation of long-term commitments by the allies, with particular emphasis on investment in the defence of each NATO member state and long-term support for Ukraine and its financial assistance, the government press service said.
