The legal working age in Bulgaria is 16, and minors work in alleviated working conditions (in Bulgaria minors are persons under the age of 18). For them, working time is a maximum of 35 hours in a 5-day working week, for which they are paid no less than the minimum salary for the country. Overtime and night work is prohibited for minors.
