A government can be formed by the parties in the 50th National Assembly, excluding GERB-SDS and DPS, with the mandate of "Vazrazhdane", as that is a total of 125 votes, Kostadin Kostadinov, leader of "Vazrazhdane", has told BNR. According to him, if a government with the mandate of GERB was not formed, there would be two options - "either a cabinet with the mandate of Vazrazhdane or new elections".

He defined GERB and DPS as "parties - Siamese twins", which represented a huge problem for the functioning of the political system in the country. According to him, if the smaller parties in the parliament do not unite to prevent GERB and DPS from ruling, "the agony will continue to destroy the state".

Kostadinov also said that "Vazrazhdane" insists that the Bulgarian lev be preserved, that Bulgaria leaves NATO, as this was “a threat to national security". According to Kostadinov, a national referendum could give an answer to these differences between his party and the other parliamentary forces.
