Within the space of two weeks National Revenue Agency officials have inspected 800 outlets along the Black Sea coastline – catering establishments, discotheques, bars, grocery stores, the agency has announced. More than 150 statements of violation have been issued most often for non-issuance of till receipts, discrepancies between the sums registered in the cash register and the cash actually there.
The data from the inspections conducted as part of the summer control campaign show that fiscal discipline in Bulgaria’s seaside resorts is improving, the National Revenue Agency says. No seasonal workers working without a contract with the employer have so far been ascertained.
The control campaign along the Black Sea coast will continue until the end of the summer season. Hundreds of seaside venues have been placed under active surveillance.
