Folklore festival at the foot of Vitosha Mountain gathers performers from nine countries

From today until July 20, the International Folklore Festival "Vitosha"  will be held at the foot of Vitosha Mountain. Performers from Bolivia, India, Italy, Albania, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Moldova, North Macedonia and Bulgaria will introduce the audience to the richness of their cultures and traditions.

Among the interesting accompanying events are the festive procession along Vitosha Boulevard, the planting of the festival's "Tree of Friendship", the traditional Bulgarian evening and the art and craft bazaars.

The International Folklore Festival "Vitosha" is part of the Calendar of Cultural Events of Sofia Municipality.
