President Rumen Radev to attend the EPC Summit in the United Kingdom

On Thursday 18 July, President Rumen Radev will represent Bulgaria at the meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) in the United Kingdom. The Bulgarian President will discuss energy security in Europe at a thematic round table with 12 other heads of state.

The event will be hosted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who will welcome leaders from across the continent to Blenheim Palace, near Oxford. More than 45 European leaders will meet to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing Europe. There will be an opening plenary, followed by three roundtables on Migration, Energy and Connectivity, and Defending and Securing Democracy, before concluding with a closing plenary.     

The European Policy Community is a platform designed to promote dialogue between European leaders to find solutions to issues of common concern and to strengthen Europe's security, stability and prosperity. This will be the fourth meeting of the EPC since its creation.
