GERB-SSDS and Vazrazhdane will not support a government with the second mandate

The GERB-SDS coalition will support any anti-corruption initiatives, but not in their currently presented niche form, which is apparently part of an election campaign. The coalition will not support a proposal for a cabinet with the second mandate.

This was announced by MP Rosen Zhelyazkov after a meeting with the negotiating team of the PP-DB, which turned to the other parliamentary forces for support for the formation of a cabinet, which, according to the PP-DB, should be evidenced by supporting a declaration against corruption prepared by them.
Zhelyazkov ironically praised the PP-DB for "showing courage" to seek options for forming a majority, even when they have declared that they will be the opposition, and without guaranteeing the reception and implementation of the second mandate.

Although they support the anti-corruption legislation proposed by the PP-DB, Vazrazhdane also rejects the implementation of the second mandate. This became clear from the statement of the deputy chairman of the party Tsoncho Ganev. The objections of Vazrazhdane are related to the fact that DB rejected their proposals for legislative priorities, and that they can not negotiate with GERB and MRF, and claim that they are fighting behind the scenes.
