President Radev to hand the third government-forming mandate to There Is Such a People

President Rumen Radev will hand the third government-forming mandate to representatives of There Is Such a People (ITN). The mandate will be presented at 12 p.m on Monday, the Presidency press service reported.

Thus, ITN gets the last chance to form a government in the 50th National Assembly. After receiving the mandate, Slavi Trifonov's party must decide whether to nominate a Prime Minister-designate who will attempt to form a cabinet. The Constitution does not specify an explicit deadline within which the third mandate must be returned—whether fulfilled or unfulfilled. ITN made statements that they intend to propose an expert cabinet and will invite all parliamentary groups to talks.
