President Rumen Radev will hand the third government-forming mandate to representatives of There Is Such a People (ITN). The mandate will be presented at 12 p.m on Monday, the Presidency press service reported.
Thus, ITN gets the last chance to form a government in the 50th National Assembly. After receiving the mandate, Slavi Trifonov's party must decide whether to nominate a Prime Minister-designate who will attempt to form a cabinet. The Constitution does not specify an explicit deadline within which the third mandate must be returned—whether fulfilled or unfulfilled.
