The situation related to the two fires raging in Maleshevo and Slavyanka mountains is complicated. Both fronts remain active. About 6,000 decares of forest area in Mount Maleshevo were affected, as well as over 3,000 decares of agricultural land. There is no danger to populated areas.
In addition to the hundreds of fire-fighters, two French planes also help in combating the fire. They will be putting out the fire in the area of Maleshevo, the director of the fire department, Chief Commissioner Alexander Dzhartov, has told the BNR.
