A programme featuring events by far overstepping the bounds of the orthodox – that is what the organizers of the festival RADAR are promising audiences. The festival is taking place in Varna 2-4 August. In 8 concerts and 2 creative workshops with the participation of over 30 musicians and visual artists, RADAR’s 11th edition has the ambition to find the point where audio-visual arts intersect.
The music programme offers a wide variety of styles – from jazz to electronica, from Renaissance to avant-garde, and beatbox - and it will all be combined with a light installation and video mapping.
The prime venues of the festival are the concert hall of the City Art Gallery for the opening concerts on the three festival nights, and the concerts which will be later in the evening will take place in the open yard of Varna’s Archaeological Museum.
