Burgas Airport welcomes its one millionth passenger for 2024

On August 7, Burgas Airport will welcome its one-millionth passenger for 2024. In 2023, the airport welcomed its millionth passenger on August 2. Statistics show that the day with the largest passenger traffic was July 26 when the airport served more than 25,000 passengers.

 In 2023, Burgas Airport served 1.8 million passengers, 13% more than in 2022. 46 airlines flew to 75 destinations. In 2024, there are flights to 85 destinations in 25 countries. However, the airport is not yet able to return to the pre-pandemic levels. in 2019, 72 airlines flew to 132 destinations in 37 countries. More than 2,8 million passengers were served.
