Message sent to the US House of Representatives for Bulgaria

Congressman Joe Wilson, Republican from the state of South Carolina, founder and co-chair of the Congressional Friendship Caucus for Bulgaria, addressed the House of Representatives on Bulgaria. This was announced by the Embassy of Bulgaria in the USA on its Facebook page.

Joe Wilson recalled the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Bulgaria, noting significant moments in their development over the years.

In the document, Joe Wilson also traces the lasting bilateral ties from the founding of the school opened by American missionaries in Bulgaria in 1860 to the second strategic dialogue between the US and Bulgaria held on September 25, 2023, BTA reports.
