Caretaker prime minister hopes that Bulgaria will be in the eurozone in 2025

We have preserved the main priorities of Bulgaria, said caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev at the beginning of today's government’s meeting.

"It is increasingly likely that this will be our last regular meeting. We continue with the reports. For 4 months we worked at quite high speeds. We achieved our main task of organizing fair, free and transparent elections. We put out all kinds of fires, literally and figuratively," Glavchev said. "We introduced 20 bills. I would like to single out the Act on the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria. It is a practical preparation for our entry into the eurozone. I hope that by the end of the year we will fulfil the last criterion and this would become a fact next year," he added.
