The Bulgarian participants won three medals at the first International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence, which was held in Burgas.
In the practical round of the Olympiad, the Bulgarian team won a gold and a bronze, while in the theoretical part, the other Bulgarian team finished with a bronze medal.
The tasks of the Olympiad were prepared by researchers from leading universities around the world. In the theoretical round, the participants had to solve problems in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning and natural language processing. In the practical round they had to create video and audio content.
More than 200 participants in 40 teams from all over the world took part in the Olympiad.
