Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 16 August 2024

Sunny weather with showers in places on Friday

Sunny weather will prevail on Friday. In the afternoon, cloudy skies will develop over the western and central parts of the country, and in some places it will rain and thunder. 
The maximum temperatures will be between 32°C and 37°C, for Sofia – around 34°C.

There will be cumulus clouds over the mountains, more significant in the afternoon. Over the massifs in the western and central part of the country, clouds will develop and in some places there will be short-term precipitation accompanied by thunder. The wind will blow from the north-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 22°C, at 2,000 m – around 29°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperatures will be 28°C-31°C, and the sea water - 26°C-28°C.
