For the snap election for parliament to be held on 20 October, the new caretaker cabinet has to be sworn in at the National Assembly no later than 20 August. The 50th National Assembly started functioning on 19 June. The MPs had a total of 40 work days during which they held 23 sittings. The MPs are expected to have 8 more sittings at most, because on 20 September parliament should take a pre-election recess.
