The Ministry of Finance has drafted a law on crypto-assets markets to regulate trading in this type of instruments, BNR’s Radio Sofia reports. The initiative comes in response to the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) which comes into effect this year. This will, in practice, lay the foundations of crypto regulation in the country. “The law is not just for the EU, it aims to shed light on the gray sector globally, which generates huge profits,” Ginka Hristova, specialist in digital law and chairperson of the Centre for International Law commented for the BNR.
