Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 27 August 2024

Temperatures to drop slighly, clouds expected on Tuesday

On Tuesday until noon, sunny weather will prevail over most area. In the afternoon there will be more significant increases in cloudiness over the northern and eastern parts of the country. In places, mainly in North-Eastern Bulgaria, it will rain and thunder. A light and moderate wind will blow from the northeast-east. Maximum temperatures will be between 30°C and 35°C, in Sofia - around 30°C.

Along the Black Sea coast in the morning, there will still be short-term rain showers in the extreme southern section. Sunny weather will prevail over the rest of the coast before noon. Cloudiness will increase over the Northern Black Sea coast in the afternoon. It will rain and thunder in places. A moderate northeasterly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 27° and 31°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 26°-29°C. 

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. In the afernoon cumulus clouds will develop, but only in isolated places will there be short-term rain showers. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 24°,, at 2,000 meters - 16°C.
