Primorsko ends the season with a 30% increase in tourists

The resort town of Primorsko is hosting the Black Sea Forum 2024, where the most successful companies and municipalities in the Black Sea region will be honored at an official ceremony on September 6, 2024 in the town center. For the ninth year in a row, the Black Sea Awards will present the most successful examples of the development of Bulgaria's maritime region, the organizers of the Global Media and VIP COMMUNICATION forum, which are part of the international cooperation platform - Global Leaders, note in a press release. 

The host of the forum Primorsko reports a record growth of 30% of tourists in the current season.

In addition to beautiful nature and a rich cultural and historical heritage, this year the tourists of the Primorsko municipality experienced the rich cultural and diverse program of "Prim fest", which affected both the image of the resort and the local residents and merchants. Main streets, approaches to beaches, promenades, parks were renovated, and the appearance of temporary commercial establishments is also changing. The construction of infrastructural facilities is planned, which are expected to improve the environment in the Black Sea town. 

In addition, the three Black Sea municipalities - Primorsko, Sozopol and Tsarevo are considering the construction of a four-lane road, the expansion of Malko Tarnovo border crossing, as well as the development of ecological and cultural tourism in the region, year-round flights to leading destinations from and to Burgas airport. Maritime transport is also being considered for better connectivity and promotion of Black Sea destinations.

The Municipality of Primorsko participates annually in the most popular tourist exhibitions, both in Bulgaria and abroad, and the traditional tourist markets, in addition to the Bulgarian one, are Czech, Polish and Slovak. It is also advertised in the Spanish, Scandinavian and other markets.
