Travelling to Sofia Airport may take longer due to construction works

Temporary difficulties are possible on the road to and from Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport due to construction activities. On its Facebook page, Sofia Airport reports that the road to the terminal, the entrance and the exit is being widened and controlled access is being introduced. After the completion of the activities in one lane, construction will continue in the other, in the direction of Sofia.

The entrance and exit of Terminal 2 will remain open, but with temporary traffic management that will last until the end of November.

In its announcement, Sofia Airport warns travellers to plan their time in advance, taking into account possible difficulties in movement.
