The mayor of the village of Samoranovo (Dupnitsa Municipality) has initiated an urgent fundraising campaign in connection with the fire in Rila Mountain, reported BNR- Blagoevgrad. The aim of the initiative is to urgently purchase firefighting equipment for extinguishing fires in inaccessible areas, such as back pack water sprayers, bucket pumps, battery-powered sprayers, radios, gas masks, etc. These tools will also be used in the future if fires occur again.
