Within a month, the prosecutor's office must carry out an inspection of the property related to the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Ahmed Dogan, in the Sofia district Boyana and in the Rosenets park. The reason for this is the statement of former transport minister Danail Papazov that he is the owner of the two properties and his appeal to Ahmed Dogan to release them.

The honorary chairman of the MRF, Ahmed Dogan, is now being guarded by officers of the National Security Service and the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of the Interior announced.

A commission established according to the requirements of the Law on the National Security Service had to assess yesterday whether the honorable Ahmed Dogan is threatened and needs security, informed the Caretaker Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out an investigation based on a signal sent on August 28 of this year from the National Security State Agency. The report was filed by Dzhevdet Chakarov and concerns Ahmed Dogan. The person was immediately provided security by the National Security Service and the Ministry of the Interior," the department said in a statement.

It becomes clear that the necessary operational actions and measures have been taken to clarify the data indicated in the alert.

"An interrogation was conducted of the person who received these data, containing a fixed period of time and place indicated by the sender of the signal," informs the Ministry of the Interior. From there, they find that the presented facts and circumstances are not confirmed: "It has been established that the person in question, indicated by the sender, was not in the fixed period of time at the specific place", the message also says.

The results of the inspection have been sent to the prosecutor's office.
