Part of the Camping Bungalows-Nestinarka in the Municipality of Tsarevo is again flooded due to the heavy rains along the Southern Black Sea coast. The meteorological situation is now back to normal and there are no reports of casualties, reports BNR Burgas. In several areas, the intense rainfall has flooded private properties and led to partial issues with street lighting.
Following the severe flooding that claimed lives last year, the Municipality of Tsarevo submitted documents requesting state aid for the bridge and the gully around it, which were swept away by the floodwater. However, no funding was granted. The total amount requested is approximately 35 million BGN (17.5 million EUR).
The Municipality of Tsarevo will prepare new documents for a comprehensive correction of the river around Nestinarka Beach. The issue of the need for additional funding for the correction of gullies, riverbeds and the restoration of damaged infrastructure will be raised.
