International conference discusses sustainable farming in the conditions of climate change

The Maize Research Institute in Knezha is hosting an international conference dedicated to sustainable and competitive agriculture in the conditions of global climate change.

Renowned experts from Serbia and Turkey have been invited as lecturers at the forum, which is taking place September 3 and 4 – Prof. Yalcin Kaya from Trakya University in Edirne, Prof. Dr. Goran Bekavac and Dr. Miroslav Babic from the Institute of Field and Vegetables Crops in Novi Sad.

The Maize Research Institute in Knezha was set up in 1924; the decree for its establishment was signed in 1925 by Tsar Boris III.
