"Bulgaria is prepared for Schengen and we do not understand why it is not part of this space".

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjártó in Bucharest, where he participated in the 8th meeting at the level of energy ministers from the countries involved in the implementation of the Green Corridor project - Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.

At a press conference, he emphasized that his country supported the membership of Bulgaria and Romania in Schengen. According to him, if the two countries are part of Schengen, the long queues at the borders will disappear, BTA reported.
