The 5th Fish and Wine Festival is being held in the Black Sea city of Burgas from today until 8 September. Residents and guests of the city will enjoy a variety of culinary specialities and wines, a musical programme and other entertainment.
The festival will traditionally include a competition for the "Most Delicious Fish Soup", open to restaurants and home cooks alike.
Among the foreign performers are the Ukrainian duo Miss Diki & Co, Mahrez Hachemi from Algeria and Dimitris Papadopoulos and his band. The venue is Seaside Park, next to the Flora Expo Centre.
