The largest flow of investments to Bulgaria is from the Netherlands, outflow is to Russia

The largest net positive flows of direct investments in the country for January - July 2024 are from the Netherlands (269.5 million euros), Austria (225 million euros) and Greece (160.5 million euros), BNB data show. 

According to them, the largest net negative flows from Bulgaria for the same period were to Russia (184.4 million euros) and Poland (84.8 million euros). 

The net flow of foreign investment in real estate was negative at EUR 1.6 million, with a negative net flow of EUR 9.9 million for January-July 2023.
