For the 10th year

Bulgaria joins the European Week of Sport #BeActive

This is the tenth year that Bulgaria is taking part in the European Week of Sport #BeActive. From 23 to 30 September, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is organising a series of events to promote active lifestyles, increase physical activity and encourage healthy eating among the population.

The campaign will be launched today at 11:00 in Blagoevgrad, while the Sports Village and #BeActiveNight will be held on September 28 at 16:00 in front of the National Palace of Culture in the capital. The theme of this year's initiative is "Be active, stay fit, think green". Events will be held in Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Samokov, Kazanlak, Nova Zagora, Haskovo, Kardjali and Nedelino.



#BeActive is a European Commission campaign to promote sport and physical activity among EU citizens.
