Bulgarian female chess players rank 10th at Chess Olympiad

The Bulgarian female chess players finished in 10th place in the final ranking of the 4th Chess Olympiad, which was held in Budapest, Hungary. 
On the last day of the competition, Bulgaria beat Italy 3.5 to 0.5. Antoineta Stefanova, Nurgyul Salimova and Beloslava Krasteva recorded wins, while Viktoria Radeva drew with Tea Gueci. 

Thus, the native players end with 16 match points, as many as the teams of China, Ukraine, Poland, Argentina and Uzbekistan, but the first three teams have an advantage in the first tiebreak. 

In this way, Bulgaria finished in the prestigious 10th place in the world. 

In the men's category, Bulgaria finished in 27th position with 14 points. In the last round, the national team lost to Germany 1.5 to 2.5.
